I am Amani, a sculptor, born in Tripoli in 1981. Now I am rooted in Ticino, Switzerland.
I have always had artistic interests, but it is only since 2019 that I have been able to dedicate myself to my art full time. I love experimenting with different artistic techniques, exploring the potential of different materials: bronze, marble, ceramic, wax, stone and plaster.
The symbol, the metamorphosis and the archetype fascinate me, both for their communicative power and for the universal language they contain. My recurring themes are change, the relationship between man and nature, the contrast between nature and culture, the feminine in its various facets, archetypes and mythology. Art is my way of relating to existential research: a journey towards the discovery of myself and my relationship with reality.
